I just got back from a parent meeting for kids going into Jr. High. It seems like only a few days ago Savannah was this little kiddo with curly hair and a pooched out tummy. Not anymore. She is turning 12 and will be in the 7th grade this fall. I want her to still be a little kiddo.
Growing older is not fun. Well in some ways it is, but I am fine with me getting older, but part of me wants my children to still be little.
sigh.....

Tell me about it. Didn't we just drive home from the hospital with her? Did we blink since then? We must've both missed it because now she's suddenly a "preteen". Ouch. I'm not ready for my babies to be all...grown up & teenagery. Quick..find a brick. We'll put it on her head & slow her down. :)
